1- Tehran Naderi Coffee
An Intellectual Meeting place:
When Khachic Madikianz opened his restaurant on Naderi Street in 1928, he was unaware that it would mark a new chapter in Iranian intellectual history. He just wanted to taste the European cuisine for the inhabitants of the capital. However, over the years, the café has become a gathering place for writers, journalists and artists. Even the fire could not stop it! Because after the reconstruction of the cafe, the meetings continue and people having lemon tea, coffee and sweets served, resume the interrupted conversations! Today, it is still the case: earthenware, aged boys, the warm welcome of Mr. Formica have preserved the atmosphere typical of restaurants such as Chateaubriand and Schnitzel.
