Mazichal forrest

As with other northern regions of Iran, the Caspian Sea is beautiful and spectacular in all seasons, and it is possible to choose according to your personal taste and interest.In spring and summer, the Mazichal forrest  are bursting with spring flowers which provide a pleasant, relaxing view and also the air is mild and refreshing.
Although some people like to visit Mazichal in the fall others mostly prefer the cold and the snow.The Mazichal forest is considered to be one of the Caspian Hyrcanian mixed forests. The marginal climate of the Alborz mountain range and Mazandaran Sea is very suitable for broad-leaved forests. The forests range from Astara to eastern Gorgan, with a length of 800 kilometers and a width of about 110 kilometers.It dates back to the third period of geology and is very rich and valuable in terms of native and ancient species.

Currently, there are up to 150 species of endemic trees and shoots in the Hirkani forest, such as Buxus hyrcana and Parrotia persica.What is interesting about Mazichal is that in the course of a day, the weather can change drastically from sunny to a heavy rainfall. The unique characteristic of this village is that when it rains, Mazichal seems to be floating above the clouds.

One of the most wonderful flowers growing in the northern parts of Iran, Liliaceae, grows in Mazichal and an annual festival hosts visitors flocking to view its flowering.

Itinerary

First day:
Departure from Tehran from 06:00 in the morning for Kelardasht via the Chalous road and Marzanabad. The buffet breakfast at the Gatchsar Hotel;

– Arrival in the Kelardasht region around 12 h. for lunch in the Rudbarak mountaineer’s refuge;

– Then change car and take a “Nissan” van with the group

– Departure for the forest area of ​​Mazichal, Stay tent camping in Mazichal, rest then dinner.

Second day:

Breakfast at camp;

– Full day trekking program in forest.

– Lunch and dinning in Mazichal forest

– Overnight in Camp.

Third day:

Breakfast at camp, and then departure to Rudbarak;

– Lunch at Rudbarak refuge then return to Tehran.

– Arrival in Tehran in the evening.

– End of the tour.
